New Release & Book Review- Indigo Ridge (The Edens) by Devney Perry

 INDIGO RIDGE

Release Date: October 26th
The Edens #1
By Devney Perry

Winslow Covington believes in life, liberty and the letter of the law. As Quincy, Montana’s new chief of police, she’s determined to prove herself to the community and show them she didn’t earn her position because her grandfather is the mayor.

According to her pops, all she has to do is earn favor with the Edens. But winning over the town’s founding family might have been easier if not for her one-night stand with their oldest son. In her defense, it was her first night in town and she didn’t realize that the rugged and charming man who wooed her into bed was Quincy royalty.

Sleeping with Griffin Eden was a huge mistake, one she’s trying to forget. He’s insufferable, arrogant and keeps reminding everyone that she’s an outsider. Winslow does her best to avoid Griffin, but when a woman is found dead on Eden property, the two of them have no choice but to cross paths.

As clues to the murderer lead to one of Quincy’s own, Griffin realizes Winslow is more than he gave her credit for. Beautiful and intelligent, she proves hard to resist. For him. And the killer.

My Review
4.5 Stars

We head to Quincy, Montana in Devney Perry's new series to meet the Edens! The town of Quincy, Montana, very own founding family. You can't walk down the street without hearing the Edens names or seeing their name on a building.

New to Quincy, Winslow Covington feels she has a lot to prove taking on the role of the new chief of police. Her focus is to get to know the community and have them trust in her. She may be young, but she's damn good at her job.

Her arrival in town starts off bumpy after sharing a hot passionate night with non other than Griffin Eden, the oldest Eden sibling. Not only is Winslow trying to navigate the ins and outs of this small town, and now this intense attraction she shares with Griffin. She now has a murder on her hands. One that is stirring up all kinds of trouble and painful memories for the people in her town.

Griffin Eden has quickly become one of my favorite Devney Perry leads! Hard worker, gruff, with a big love for his family and the work he does. He's all around very swoon-worthy! I loved how Winslow came in and knocked him on his ass and woke up a part of him, a part that needed more for his life than just work and never settling down.

Winslow "Winnie"  stole my heart right along with Griffin! She is tough, passionate and knows who she is and what she deserves. I loved to see her come in with the odds against her and proved just how great she was to anyone who would doubt her.

Devney Perry has brought to life another great series with Indigo Ridge. This is a book full of heat, heart and a family that everyone will want gracing their bookshelf's!
