My Review⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The town of Calamity, Montana just got even more captivating! Two lost souls searching for more, family, secrets, betrayal and lots of heat. The Bluff has a little bit of everything you could want in a romance book. Everly Christian has to start all over after running to the small town of Calamity. She thought she left all the anxiety and stress behind her in Nashville, when she escaped the horror that stalked her and her best friend, Lucy. She closed that chapter, but now is left in a sort of limbo. She's struggling to learn what and where shes suppose to be in her life. Everly craves a connection, a safe place to call home, a family. And she may have just found a purpose, in helping the quite, permanently scowling, local artist, Reese Huxley. Reese Huxley, local bad boy, angry, keeps to himself, a past that he can never leave behind. That's the way the residents of Calamity sees him. And he's fine with that, only it's affecting not only him, but the one person in his life he loves, his daughter. And Hux would do anything to protect her, to have his daughter come home. Even if that means trusting in a woman he barley knows, but craves, the beautiful Everly Christian. Hux and Everly are intense and passionate and the connection they formed from the first meeting is so swoon-worthy. They may fight it every step of the way, both fear opening themselves up and ending up hurt or broken. But the journey to get there is so worth the read! Hux is grade a alpha male. With his gruff attitude and take charge nature. But his passion for art, love for his daughter and the beautiful bond he forms with Everly made this book so hard to put down. I felt such a personal connection to Everly. Her struggles to find her shelf, her passion, her purpose, was so inspiring to read. I loved seeing her journey, her growth and all the love she had to give to those around her. Willa Nash is knocking it out of the park with this series, I am so excited to stay in Calamity and discover even more of this small town and its characters.
