The Play Maker was an entertaining, fun & very sexy book! It was one that I just could not put down!
Nicole Grant works as a bartender in a fancy hotel in LA. She's charming, beautifully curvy, and has a ability to read her customers to a tee. She loves having fun with guys, but she won't get attached, she won't stay more than a couple hours, no sleep overs, no long term commitment. She has a brother that depends on her, and she would do anything to make sure he was taken care of. He's her world. When sexy British football super star, James Martin, saunters up to her counter, Nicole is in for one passion filled night. But she can't seem to shake the feelings of wanting to stay longer or maybe have just one more night with captivating man.
James Martin is know as a playboy, in the media as the "The Play Maker" but it's not as true as everyone would like to think. James is in LA for a Football "Soccer" championship. He's looking to play great, relax, and find out what he would like to achieve after he's done with the game. When he meets the gorgeous bartender at the hotel bar, he's in for a wild good time. He's finding himself craving more of her company. But she's good at the brush off. James decides to up the charm, and get to know more of this captivating women.
I just loved these two, this whole story. Katie McCoy has delivered us one extremely hot book! James and Nicole where so much fun to read. Nicole with her love em and leave em attitude. Her love and protectiveness for her brother. She's the one to provide and care for everyone. So she finds it difficult to let someone help her, care for her. James, I was expecting a total player. But he's more than that. He is one sexy, loving, yes cocky but sweet guy. He's genuine and upfront. And a British accent is always a plus.
The Play Maker was a awesome read. One I will highly recommend. You'll fall for Nicole & James.
I love each of Katie McCoy's books, so I'm excited to read what she gives us next!
