A great anthology. These writers bring you into there paranormal worlds, and leave you wanting more. With, Faeries, Vampires, Shape shifters, Ghosts, & a new take on Frankensteins Monster. It's a great mix of supernatural creatures & suspenseful stories.


*Spirit Of The Wolf by Andrea Stanet*


A college girl on her daily run, stumbles upon a beautiful women. Asia feels a strong attraction to this stranger. But Asia cant let on how shes attracted to her. 1. She has a boyfriend ( a boyfriend who may be just a tad clingy) and 2. Shes scared of what her parents would think, if they knew who shes attracted to. But after quite a few run ins with Nati, There just might be something else helping pull them together. Nati is from a line of  shape shifters. And her pack is hoping Asia will embrace her inner wolf and join them. But they wont force her. Unlike Asia's boyfriends, who is also a shifter. He's alone, with no pack and no home. And hes desperate for Asia to join him. If she likes it or not. With the help of Nati and her family, Asia chooses on her own to embrace the wolf inside her. And to be with Nati without fear of what people with think. Spirit of the Wolf is a different take on Shape shifters that i haven't read before. I enjoyed it. It's a little mystery with some romance, throw in a bit of action, and you got a pretty interesting story.





*Enternal Guard by Tina Smith*

Haunted and desperate for the pain to end. Farren attempts to throw herself off a bridge. But what she didn't expect was a stranger stopping her from jumping. Scared and confused by these two men in the woods, she runs. But one of the men give chase. She awakes in her dorm, not sure what had happened. Joe the man who stopped her from jumping, tells her he's going to protect her from the strange who was with him in the woods. While they stick close together, Farren uncovers a secret. Joe and this other man are vampires. The guard a secret community that deals with there kind. Doesn't think its wise for Joe to be around Farren. Buts shes falling for him, it doesn't matter though. Even with strong feelings between them, it could never work. With Joe gone, a death of a friend, and a kidnapping of another. Farren sets out to stop the vampires who have hurt her and the ones she cares for. A good mix of mystery and romance. You can never read to many vampire books, and Enternal Guard didn't disappoint.

*Into The Dark by Laurie Treacy*

I loved the mix of romance, mystery, & a hot Fae Prince, that Into The Dark provided. Holly, home from college finds her house empty. Her  family off at school, work, and taking care of a family emergency. Deciding since shes stuck home by herself, why not decorate, bake, and get the home ready for the holidays with her family. Out for a walk in the woods, with her dog Chewie. Holly finds a man injured, laying in the snow. Dressed like something from a different century, & With a little of a stuck up additude. Holly manegs to get this strange man, inside her house. After cleaning his wounds, and discovering pointing ears, and the color of his blood being very unusual. Holly comes to the conclusion that this man, is not human. While he is fast a sleep, a women appears, demanding to know what happened to her brother. Lila weary of holly, and worried for her brother, calls for help. Lacon is the prince of the summer Fae. Soon to take over the thrown. While Lila, and there court, help to heal lacon. Holly uncovers secrets from her past. And how shes connected to these Fae. Holly and Lacon feel a strong connection to one another. With a touch between the two, the spell casted upon them to forget breaks.They know one another, as children they would play in the woods behind her house. They were beast friends, inseparable. And Lacon always promised he would marry her one day. With jealousy, and loathing towards Holly's grandmother, lacons mother casted a spell, to make everyone in Holly's family, including lacon to forget. With the spell broken, holly & lacon can be together. But he has to fix things in his realm, & holly has a difficult chose to make involving the Fae courts. And with the people reaspoisable for the spell, still out there, they must stick together to get there happily ever after. I really really hope there is more to this story. Into the dark is a great take on the Fae. And i want to read more.



*The Unspoken Truth by Lee Ryder*

Since she was a child, Lena has always been able to see things other people couldn't. Ghost's. Now older and working with her husband, in the police force. They work to solve cold cases, Lena is able to use her gifts to help put the spirits to rest. When a case comes to her, she knows she wont be able to move on until she helps this poor women, Jessica Clayton, who had a hard life and a tragic death. Lena must work with her husband, and really throw herself into this one. She wants to put Jessica to rest. Because if she doesn't, then Lena may be in danger. The spirits are starting to get aggressive. Mystery, ghosts, and secrets. I'm always a fan for a good ghost story.


*Spinning Scars by Alexia Purdy*

Spinning Scars, was a really cool take on Frankensteins Monster. Something i haven't read before. I really enjoyed it, and would love to read more about these characters. Orphaned as a child, Ruby is trying to make it through college. Shes been alone for a long time now, but shes determined to make it and live a good life. When she meets the mysterious & scared Matthais one day in class, her life is about to take a wild turn. Hiding his own secrets, Matthias has been alone for century's, never being able to connect, for he is immortal. And he doesn't want to bear the pain of seeming another person he loves die. Matthias was created. With scares all over his body, and the thought of being alive while having been created by pieces of dead men. Makes it hard for Mattewis to think, that what he is doing is living. But him and ruby cant deny this instant connection, that sparks between them the first day that they meet. Order by the "Other" to protect ruby a immortal daughter of a king and queen. They will no longer hunt him. He'll be free to be with ruby, as long as he protects her. I really like this story, and wish it could have had more. It's really fresh take, with action and a unlikely hero.
