Fall in love.
When Amberlyn Reilly loses her mother, her whole world comes crashing down. Having been caretaker to her for most of her teenage years, Amberlyn is inexperienced in many aspects of life. She hasn’t had time to live, have fun, or enjoy even the little things. It’s only when a letter from her mother, asking her to fulfill three things, sends her off to Ireland to live a life she never thought possible that she begins to heal.
Declan O’Callaghan was born and raised in Ireland and has his family’s legendary whiskey in his veins. He’s shy and not a fan of the pressure and spotlight that comes with his family name, or the title he was given at birth—the Whiskey Prince. Declan knows just what he wants and that is to take over the family dynasty, but when his father gives him an ultimatum, everything he’s worked for could come undone in the blink of an eye.
With six months to get married, the reclusive Declan spots Amberlyn across a lake and instantly feels the need to know her. Soon, the two find themselves traveling down a path neither expected. However, like any road, there are bumps and side streets to derail them. Can Declan help find the pieces that will make Amberlyn whole again? And will Amberlyn stay or run when she learns of Declan’s deadline of marriage?

And go to Ireland to be with family, work, go to school, and most important Live. In Ireland, Amberlyn sees why her mother wanted her to come here. It's beautiful. Working in the pub of her aunt and uncles bed and breakfast with her cousin, who's more like her sister. She starts to see that maybe she can do this, live her life like her mother asked. With her list in mind Amberlyn wonders where to start. Declan O'Callaghan, the whiskey prince of Ireland. He should be married and raising babies by now. Like all the men in his family, who have run the whiskey business. It's been that way for generations. So Declan's dad gives him a choice, marry in six months or the company goes to Declan's sisters soon to be husband. Declan won't have it, the business is going to him, he loves it. But he won't just marry anyone. He wants love and a real relationship. Be he's shy and always locked away, for fear of people using him for his celebrity like status. When Declan's sees Amberlyn across the lake, he just knows he has to get to know this women. With a little push from his friend Kane, he ventures outside of his comfort zone, the distillery. When he meets Amberlyn, there's an Instant connection. But with some misunderstandings, Amberlyn's cousin Fiona tells her Declan O'calugun is off limits. He's royalty and enganed. Disappointed Amberlyn decides that she'll still talk to him, that they can be friends. But Declan wants more. And he's going to court the "Shite" out of her! 😉 When all is corrected and amberlyn learnes Declan is single and has feelings for her, just like she has for him, they couldn't be happier. Taking things slow is no problem for them, but it's pointless, there falling so fast in love with each other. And they don't want to scare the other away. Amberlyn starts living and growing, while Declan starts to come out of his shell and let's himself trust someone. But in the back of his mind, is the approaching date. Be married or loose the distillery. But Declan would give that all up in a minute to be with his love! I really loved the romance in this story. The love and happiness these two share is so great! It has love, family, lose, drama, sexy irish accents. ( just try to read this story with out an Irish accent, it's impossible) lol I love the language and cultur, intourduced in whiskey prince. Makes me one day want to travel to Ireland! The side characters were also so great. Kane and Fiona! They are definitely a pair. Loved reading about them. An amazing modern day love story, with culture, humor and some tears. Thank you for such a great book Toni aleo.
