New Release & Book Review | Bad Demon (Hell On Wheels #1) by Sherilee Gray
BAD DEMON
HELL ON WHEELS BOOK #1
Her coven saw her as an abomination, handing her over to pure evil.
She escaped, but a lone female is an easy target. When breeder scouts start hanging around her store, the only way to protect herself is to break the rules she swore to uphold—adding a whole new problem.
Relic, an emotionless and arrogant hellhound, witnessed those crimes and now he’s stalking her. But the unpredictable beast is the only thing standing between her and mortal danger, so Fern chooses the lesser of two evils and plays dirty, forcing him to protect her.
However, the sinfully handsome Relic isn’t easily controlled. He surrounds her with a quiet dominance and easy affection that’s breaking through her pain—and as hard as she tries to protect her heart, he’s even more determined to claim it…
My Review | 5 stars
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I’ve loved Relic and the Hellhounds since we first met them in the Thornheart Trails series! And I was so happy to learn he was getting his own book.
Bad Demon is the start to a new series, Hell On Wheels, that I’m already obsessed with! I LOVE this new world of characters, mixed with our favorites from previous books. The way Sherilee Gray writes Paranormal Romance is something I can’t get enough of!
Relic, the fierce and protective Hellhound. Who has to navigate emotions that are so foreign to him, while doing everything in his power to protect the guarded and fiery, Fern Honeycutt.
Fern, strong and resilient, but lost. She’s navigating her life alone, searching for answers of what she is and why she was shunned from her coven. All while trying to stay hidden from the evil that hunts her and understand her connection to a Hellhound set on being her protector.
Relic and Fern’s story was so addicting! I read their book in a day, because I just could not put it down. The journey these two go on was sexy, dark and heartbreaking. Filled with magic and fate and romance!
I’m SO looking forward to more books in this world!!
Thank you for the ARC!!

Being back in Sparrow Falls is the best feeling!
I’ll never get enough of Catherine Cowles writing! The way she weaves mystery, murder, family and so much love into these pages is so addicting!
Sutton Holland is a fierce momma who will do anything to provided for her son. She works endless hours, making delicious creations in her little bakery. And trying to shield her son from their past. Her protective nature, her will to leave her past behind and create a future they deserve are her only goals. Until her son’s hockey coach enters her life, and everything she thought is shaken up!
Copeland “Cope” Colton is so much deeper and complex than the goofy, distant, hockey playing Colson sibling. He bares guilt and nightmares from the night that changed his families lives. He keeps all that hidden behind easy smiles. But his anger on the ice and tabloid headlines has him heading home where he’ll have to face those feelings even more. But then a woman with as many secrets as him and her son show him maybe he’s tired of running, from his home, his family, and life.
I loved every mintue of Sutton & Cope! The way these two interact, their banter. It had me hooked! These two bring laughs, spice and all the romance in Broken Harbor!
Thank You for the ARC!

Book Review | Lost & Lassoed (Rebel Blue Ranch #3) by Lyla Sage
The wait for Gus Ryder & Teddy Andersen was so worth it! I’ve been craving their story since we were was first introduced to them in Done and Dusted!
Gus and Teddy and the undeniable chemistry buried under all the mutual dislike was expsloive! These two are were so much fun to read. Their back and forth and all the jabs they take was so entertaining. The tension and the spice was everything and more! One of my favorite tropes is hate to love and Lost and Lassoed did not disappoint with that at all!
I could stay lost at Rebel Blue Ranch and this peaceful world Lyla Sage has created! I couldn’t get enough of the banter between Teddy and Gus, the friendships, the family, Gus in chaps, and Teddy’s big beautiful heart!
I never wanted this book to end! These books are just so romantic, they give me butterflies and make me laugh! It’s just such a comforting series to loose yourself in!
She thrives in chaos. He prefers routine. The only thing they have in common? How much they hate each other.
Teddy Andersen doesn’t have a plan. She’s never needed one before. She’s always been more of a go with the flow type of girl, but for some reason, the flow doesn’t seem to be going her way this time.
Her favorite vintage suede jacket has a hole in it, her sewing machine is broken, and her best friend just got engaged. Suddenly, everything feels like it’s starting to change. Teddy’s used to being a leader, but now she feels like she’s getting left behind, wondering if life in the small town she loves is enough for her anymore.
Gus Ryder has a lot on his plate. He doesn’t know what’s harder: taking care of his family’s 8,000 acre ranch, or parenting his spunky six-year-old daughter, who is staying with him for the summer. Gus has always been the dependable one, but when his workload starts to overwhelm him, he has to admit that he can’t manage everything on his own. He needs help.
His little sister’s best friend, the woman he can’t stand, is not who he had in mind. But when no one else can step in, Teddy’s the only option he’s got. Teddy decides to use the summer to try and figure out what she wants out of life. Gus, on the other hand, starts to worry that he’ll never find what he needs.
Tempers flare, tension builds, and for the first time ever, Gus and Teddy start to see each other in a different light. As new feelings start to simmer below the surface, they must decide whether or not to act on them. Can they keep things cool? Or will both of them get burned?

Sneak Peek | Broken Harbor (Sparrow Falls #3) by Catherine Cowles
💙 𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐊𝐄𝐍 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐁𝐎𝐑 𝐒𝐍𝐄𝐀𝐊 𝐏𝐄𝐄𝐊 💙
USA Today bestseller, Catherine Cowles, has a sneak peek for the next book in the Sparrow Falls Series, Broken Harbor, coming November 19th!
“Gotta say, that’s some creative language,” the man said.
Hell, his voice was just as bad as his chuckle. The sort of tone that had all the tiny hairs on my arms standing at attention. “I didn’t realize someone was lurking around like a creeper,” I snapped.
The man held up his hands in surrender. Hands that looked strong. Long, thick fingers and callused palms. The kind of hands that could lift you up and throw you on the bed—hell. I needed to quit that line of thinking and fast.
“Was just heading over to see if you needed some help,” he said. “Looked like you were doing battle with that tire.”
“I’m good.” My voice was tight, my back molars clamping shut.
The man arched a brow. “You sure about that? I’d hate for any harm to come to a biscuit-eating grandma.”
I scowled at him. Seriously? Was he making fun of me when I was obviously on my last thread of sanity? “I’m fixing it. And I don’t need some overgrown sportsball person getting in my way.”
The man’s lips twitched. “Sportsball?”
I gestured at him. “You’re obviously some sort of athlete. The gear. The muscles—”
“The muscles, huh?” he asked, amusement lacing his tone.
My scowl turned to a glare. “Not interested.”
The man just chuckled again. “Understood. Good luck to you and Grandma. Don’t steal any of her biscuits.”
“Whatever,” I muttered.
“Oh, Warrior?”I glanced up, still glaring, only harder now that the man had given me a nickname.
He grinned at me, the action hitting me somewhere low I didn’t want to look too closely at. He gestured to his cheek. “You’ve got a little something right here.”
I stilled as the man turned to walk away. Even his walk was hot. Probably because his ass looked muscular enough to bounce a quarter off, even in those damn joggers.
I needed to get laid.
Scrambling to my feet, I hurried to the driver’s side door and flipped down the visor. Grease was smeared all over the side of my face.
Great. Just great.
